Step 2 - If you only care about using one modpack, run it once through Twitch then skip to Step 5. Otherwise for each modpack you want to be able to run, launch it through twitch (getting to the minecraft launcher is enough, you don't need to actually run it), then open launcherprofiles.json and copy the part highlighted here into a blank text.

Now that we’ve optimized the settings, it’s time to create the layout of your stream. OBS uses “Scenes” and “Sources” in order to set up the layout of your stream. Sources are where you give OBS an input such as a live view of your screen or your webcam. Scenes are a collection of sources.

By default, there is already a “Scene” created, but all you can see is a black screen. The black scene is a preview of what your stream will look like. In order to add the overlay, poker table, and webcam we must add “Sources.”

Adding Sources: Overlay / Graphics

In this section, we will beingadding multiple images including: a background, a overlay, your streamR badge, and an advertising banner.

Adding a background

To add a new source, click the “+” icon under “Sources” and then select “Image.”

Now it’s time to add in your streamR badge and advertising banner.
streamR badge (for above Advertising space) – REQUIRED
To start, streamR’s are awarded with the default banner, but each time you move up the ranks we will provide a level specific banner.

Add another image source and select the streamR image. You will need to resize and move the image to fit in the designated area on the right.

Resizing a Source:
To resize a source, simply click and drag one of the circles on the red box (in any corner).
Here is what it should look like when you’re done.

There is also a space for another banner – we recommend using the Run It Once banner, but you’re free to add your own custom banner.

Adding Sources: WebCam

Now, let’s add your webcam to the stream. Add a “Video Capture Device” and make sure the “Make source visible” is clicked, then choose your webcam “Device” and click “ok.”

You will need to resize and crop your webcam to make it fit in the top right corner of the overlay.

Resizing a Source:
To resize a source, simply click and drag one of the circles on the red box (in any corner).
Cropping a Source:
Cropping the webcam will allow you to change shape of the webcam box which will allow it to fit in the designated area. To crop your source, hold down “ALT” on your keyboard while you click and drag one of the red circles on the border around your display. After cropping, the outside box will turn green, which notifies you which sides have been cropped. Here is how it should look when you’re finished.

Adding Sources: Poker Table

Next, let’s add a poker table. The source we want to add for this is a display capture. A display capture will record what is displayed on your monitor. To add a new source, click the “+” icon under “Sources” and then select “Display Capture”.

A menu will pop up where you can name your source. This is for our poker table, name it something referencing the table and make sure you leave “Make source visible” checked. Then click “OK”.

The next menu will allow you to select which monitor you want to capture. Use the drop down menu to select your preferred monitor. You also have the option of capturing your mouse cursor, we recommend leaving this enabled so your viewers can follow the action. Once you have your preferred monitor selected, click “OK”.

Now that your display capture is set up, you should see your monitor in the preview window of OBS. Our next step is resizing the capture space to focus on just your poker table instead of the entire screen. You should notice a red box around the source.

To crop your source, hold down “ALT” on your keyboard while you click and drag one of the red circles on the border around your display. After cropping, the outside box will turn green, which notifies you which sides have been cropped. Once, you cropped the area of your Run It Once Poker table, resize the table to fit properly.

Boom! Now you have the three main elements added to your stream!

Run It Once Poker is a brand new poker site that is the product of poker star Phil Galfond. The site launched into beta testing on Feb. 8. Run It Once is designed to be a place for the professional to make a living and the rec player to chase a dream.

Like many poker sites, the first step for players will be to download the client onto their computers. Download times can be a bit lengthy, although the site acknowledges that they’re working on it.

The sign-up bonus is a very straightforward promotion. All new players will receive a 100 percent deposit match on their first deposit.

This match bonus is good up to €600. Run It Once will then release the bonus in drips as players pay specified amounts of rake.

In fact, a player must only accrue 200 total watch hoursin a month in order to be eligible for the program. Even at this minimal level, the player will receive 50 percentage rakeback.

From there, the percentage of rake returned escalates according to watch hour milestones. Potentially, a StreamR could find themselves receiving 110 percent of their rake back.

Splash the Pot

Streaming players won’t be the only ones to receive rakeback. In fact, Run It Once is pledging to return 51 percent of all rakeback in its Splash the Pot system.

Like the name implies, Splash the Pot will feature random additions of money to pots. These splashes can occur on any table and at any buy-in level.

As with other promotions on the site, Run It Once is focusing on reducing the number of hoops that the player must jump through in order to trigger a promo.

Run It Once is not going to win any awards for a flashy design scheme. The lobby and table layout are both plain in execution.

For right now, there are a few color options for the felt, background, and deck. Some of the text on the screen is also a bit on the small side.

However, the jewel of the site is its avatars. Unlike avatars at other poker sites, these versions will offer indications about their player’s underlying play style.

So, a maniac might have an avatar with hair going every direction and glasses askew. A tight player might seem to have a sleepy avatar.

While these so-called “dynamic avatars” might give away unwanted information to other players, they can also serve to alert the player to his or her table image. The use of facial expressions will also bring this online poker game closer to a real-life game.

For right now, Run It Once is only offering cash games for play. There are NL Hold’em and PL Omaha options available.

Within each game, there are five different levels of buy-in. Players will find games with maximum buy-ins as low as €4, or as high as €2000.

Of course, professionals can certainly play any level of game they choose. However, Run It Once founder Phil Galfond has stated that the team will be on the lookout for predatory behavior, particularly at more casual levels.

For instance, Run It Once will selectively offer use of heads-up displays on the site. The so-called nosebleed tables will permit their use, but lower limit games will not allow HUDs.

A player’s identity will always remain hidden from opponents, too. Instead, each player will receive a new table alias when they switch seats. The dynamic avatars will also randomize whenever the player joins a new table.

Through these methods, Run It Once hopes to combat the sort of behavior that drives away the recreational player. Quite frankly, there aren’t enough professionals to sustain a site by themselves.
